INTRODUCTION
We’ve briefly mentioned 🇺🇸 talent Hausman before, in our review for his remix of Elevven’s One Last Time, so let’s now take a deeper look. In 2016, he debuted on Intricate Records with an EP of 2 progressive tracks that garnered much-warranted attention from Trance family. Then, he got on big labels such as RIDE, Elliptical Sun, & Monstercat Silk. By then, he earned a fair share of spotlight from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Myon, Farius! It was all thanks to his fresh sounds & eccentric production that improved steadily. Hausman went on to remix legends such as Dezza, Mat Zo, and even Christian Burns last year. Indeed, his remix for Mat Zo & Olan’s Problems won 3rd place in the competition, before he followed it with a debut on the label as part of Anjunabeats Rising Volume 11. To kick off this year, he’s back with a Megalodon-sized original on Enhanced.. let’s check this Troncer out!
PRODUCTION
Bulky beats set the Megalodon on track as it prepares for rampage, and a slice of grubby bassline is added to make for an immense intro. Sharp synths support the 1st climax making it nastier & more dynamic. After that energizing section, we are met with dreamy melodies and a tuneful acapella that take us to the emotional side. The glittering breakdown runs into a 2nd filthy, snappy climax. Gleeful groove, impactful riffs, & high-powered beats seal the deal and demonstrate what the giant tooth is capable of!
CONCLUSION
What a great follow-up to his Leviathan.. we can’t get enough of those crispy basslines! Check out his Twitch streams as they are massive, and stay tuned for much more from him this year.
