How we work it out

The index covers club nights listed on OnTheSesh for the next 90 days, taken from Skiddle's UK listings and refreshed twice a day. Festivals are left out so they don't skew prices. The ticket price is the cheapest ticket on sale for each night; "free" means the cheapest way in costs nothing. Prices over £150 (usually VIP tables) are ignored, and town figures only appear where at least 20 nights have a price.
