Silva Bumpa

Silva Bumpa is the stage name of Harry Eagle, a DJ and producer from Sheffield who's become one of the names driving the current UK garage and bassline revival. He grew his personal library scouring old websites and MySpace forums to learn about Niche bassline, the genre that developed at Sheffield's Niche Nightclub, leaning into bassline, jackin' house, speed garage and other electronic styles to find his own sound.

Since his first release in 2022 he's built a catalogue of bumper-sized productions for labels including ec2a and Hardline, before landing on Locked On Records with his debut EP, combining UK bass grit with the cheeky bounce of '90s club classics. Tracks like "Passion," "Songs of Praise" with grime MC Capo Lee, and "Without U" with vocalist Megan Wroe show off wobbling basslines, hearty kick drums and house-infused grooves. He's since released on Room Two Recordings and runs his own label, and recent collaborations with Interplanetary Criminal point to how his sound keeps edging further into tech house territory. He launched the "Silva Bumpa Presents" residency at Sheffield's Hope Works in November 2023, cementing his role in the local scene.

Live, expect a set that jumps between eras and styles without losing its footing. Between bumpy garage house, Sheffield organs and jackin' house, he moves through decades of UK dance history at once, revelling at the intersection with gunfinger brandished. He's built a reputation as a dynamic DJ known for rowdy mixes that span bassline, breaks, house and garage, and his rise has been recognised beyond the clubs too: he won Breakthrough DJ at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards in December 2025.
