Sonny Fodera

Sonny Fodera is an Australian house DJ and producer, now based in London. He grew up in Adelaide, where he started out making hip hop beats as a teenager before switching to house after seeing Derrick Carter play a club show at 18, and he began touring the US and UK by 23.

His sound sits across soulful, vocal-driven house with a pop-leaning edge, built for both radio and the club floor. He got his break on Green Velvet's Cajual Records, releasing his first two albums there, before signing to Defected for Frequently Flying and later launching his own label, Solotoko, which has become the home for most of his output since. He's collaborated with and remixed artists including Calvin Harris, MK, Diplo, Glass Animals and Green Velvet, and has put out six studio albums to date, with tracks like "Moving Blind" alongside Dom Dolla and "Turn Back Time" with Diplo picking up wide support. His Beatport chart history includes reaching number two in the UK and Europe and number one in Australia on the club chart.

Live, expect a set built around warm, groove-driven house with strong vocal hooks, moving between the kind of tracks built for festival mainstages and deeper, more soulful moments. He's played major festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland and EDC, as well as UK stops like Reading and Leeds, and has held residencies in Ibiza including spells at Amnesia and Pacha. These arena shows across Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and London mark a different scale again, built around his own productions and collaborations rather than a club DJ set in the traditional sense.
