Depot Mayfield
About Depot Mayfield
Depot Mayfield sits inside Manchester's former Mayfield railway station, a short walk from Piccadilly, and it's the main home of The Warehouse Project. The site was converted into a 10,000 capacity venue for culture in 2019, as part of a £1 billion regeneration project. It's run by Broadwick Venues, the same team behind Printworks and Magazine London.
The building keeps its raw, industrial character, with exposed bricks, concrete floors, and vast iron framework. Alongside the main Depot room, the venue also has two smaller areas: Concourse, which hosts free-to-attend community events, and Archive, a more intimate performance space used for some of Warehouse Project's club nights. The broader WHP season typically runs through autumn and into the new year, pulling in a wide mix of house, techno, bass and garage line-ups alongside bigger headline names.
Upcoming dates at Depot Mayfield lean heavily into that bass-and-techno identity, with Interplanetary Criminal, WHP's DOOF series with Hannah Laing, Eric Prydz on Concourse, and Duke Dumont all booked in across October, alongside Worried About Henry and ALISHA – a solid spread across house, techno, bassline and beyond.
