🇷🇴 holds a special place in the Trance scene, in the heart of every fan. It keeps blessing us with Untold festival and exceptional artists like Adina Butar, Alexandra Badoi, Bogdan Vix, Claudiu Adam, Suncatcher, Exolight, Starpicker, and now Nikolauss!
The Subculture star featured on a variety of labels like Trance-All Stars, Trancer, State Control, & AVA White. He shifted lately towards Subculture, GO Music, Regenerate, Statement!, and more. Meanwhile, his productions secured significant support from Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, John O’Callaghan, Sean Tyas, and other Trance masters.
Niko celebrates yet another milestone with a “Monolith”, his debut on Stoneface & Terminal’s Clandestine, or as we like to call it, FSOE’s Tech Center.
PRODUCTION
Groovy kicks & drums set the stage for dark spacey melodies to take control. As gravity turns black, we realize something is cooking deep inside this Techy construction.
We were astonished by the mechanisms in the buildup. The loops, riffs, plucks, and melodies reveal an influential force within the breakdown, that is Nikolauss showcasing his uplifting side.
Now, here comes the major highlight of this track: THE CLIMAX!
Electronic dirty synths lead the way, and the sweet uplifting presence is at its peak. It blends in with the euphonious side of this filthy, sneaky bomb.
CONCLUSION
According to Niko, this track has been revised many times before release. We think this is a splendid result and we are happy to see him try a new sound.
